When in  2005 Peter Kalikow asked Pininfarina to make a tailor-made car, I flew to New York and met him in his office. I was immediately quite impressed by the Client’s clear view on his next dream car: “I wish a new body with such subtle differences from the original as to be recognizable at first glance by only 10% of Ferrari connoisseurs” he said.  
Peter Kalikow, not new to creating a car, actively involved himself in the project development and 7 months after the project kick-off, a stunning  “Ferrari 612 Kappa by Pininfarina” displayed its fine lines  as special guest at Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance
