CARSINLIFE

Hyperion is a custom-built car derived from the Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe. Its name was sourced from one of the Titans of Greek Mythology, to underline its architectural and figurative power. The project was conceived by the Client of the time, the British Gentleman Mr. Roland Hall, with a clear objective in mind: to combine “the best with the best” and produce a car with passion and to the highest quality standards. My role as Program Manager to the Hyperion Project involved a huge effort to combine the style target (a modern re-interpretation of the vintage luxury appeal of the glorious cars of the ‘30es) with the Engineering development requirements. One example for all: the powered soft top was specifically conceived for the car and totally hand built. The result can be appreciated in the gallery here below.
